Švédská kapela Baron Bane byla srovnávána s umělci a skupinami jako Mew, Nine Inch Nails, Air, Lykke Li a Ladytron. Na novém singlu, nicméně zvolil Baron Bane částečně nový směr. My Slow World - třetí singl z připravovaného alba LPTO - je osobní směs kapely v novém kontextu se zpěvačkou Ida Long. LPTO vydala 20.dubna 2010 Stupid Dream Records ve spolupráci s Despotz Records (The Deer Tracks Titiyo, Kaka, O'Spada etc.) Baron Bane poslední track Orchideje točil loni v Göteborgu, K103, gimmeindie.se a THS Radio ve Stockholmu a navíc byl také být slyšen v televizní reklamě pro módní web Modezine.com. S evokujícím a audio-vizuálním rozšířením indietronica-pop Baron Bane od svého vzniku v roce 2003 okouzluje široké publikum, a to jak doma ve Švédsku I v zahraničí. V roce 2009 skupina prodělala dvě evropské turné, se zaměřením na Německo a Švýcarsko. Rekord v návštěvnosti byl na Peace & Love Almost Famous. Loni na jaře byli Baron Bane finalisté soutěže Metro On Stage (organizují noviny Metro ve spolupráci s Universal Music a ostatními). Loni v létě, byla hudba skupiny slyšet v Top Model-jako program tchajwanské televizi. Speciální host koncertu LUNO. Indietronica extravaganza BARON BANE started their collective enterprise in 2003. It is said that The Baron himself has existed at lot longer than that—but no-one really knows for how long... Today, the group Baron Bane exists of five musicians and whereas Baron Bane is a pop group, they'd very much like to use the term indietronica if one must put a label on them. Baron Bane explore the contrasts between cold and warm; digital and analogue and the group has always had the ambition that their live shows should be both a visual and sonic experience with ingredients beyond the usual. To accomplish this, the group have a history of working with many different artists such as dancers, fire artists, mime artists, graphical artists and so forth. Baron Bane has also incorporated something as exciting as overhead projector battles within their shows. In 2009, Baron Bane embarked on their second tour in Europe and made stops at both Aufsturz Klub in Berlin and well renowned Hirscheneck in Basel (allegedly Kurt Cobain wanted to perform there but his label thought it was too small). Baron Bane have lots of experience from performing live with both larger festival gigs and smaller club gigs in their résumé. Baron Bane's brand new album, entitled LPTO, will be released on April 20th. Through Stupid Dream Records in a very special co-operation with Despotz Records (home of The Deer Tracks, Titiyo et al). The first single from the album, Love.Cure.All, was released in November 2008 and featured remixes from internationally acclaimed house producer Tony Senghore, as well as other international house stars David Ekenbäck and Style Of Eye. The single and remixes has been very well received by both music blogs and by DJ:s around the globe. Tony Senghore's remix was recently featured on a Australian Ministry Of Sound compilation. Both singles “Sordid Eyes” and “Orchids” has gotten really good response in the blogosphere: “A beautiful haunting track that let's your mind swirl and spin through the stratosphere.
